Tips for students
- Get the leave letter from your school or college with the exact dates you are away and when classes resume.
- Your parents’ sponsorship letter should name you, the trip dates and confirm they pay all costs.
- Parents’ bank statements, ITR and work proof should match the sponsorship they promise.
- Plan the trip in vacations where possible — it makes your return date easy to believe.
- This checklist is for tourist visits only, not study visas.
Frequently asked questions
Can a student get a tourist visa without their own income?
Yes. Students are usually sponsored by their parents. The embassy looks at your studies, the parents’ finances and the sponsorship letter.
Do minors need anything extra?
Applicants under 18 often need consent from both parents and copies of their passports or IDs. Requirements differ by country — we confirm them for your destination.
Is this the same as a study visa?
No. This is a short tourist visit. Studying abroad needs a different visa that we do not handle.
