Musafir's Visa Café ("we", "us") helps travellers apply for tourist visas. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

• Enquiry form: your name, mobile number, destination country, travel month, number of travellers, preferred contact method and any message you write.
• Documents you share with us: if you go ahead with an application, you may send us copies of your passport, photographs, bank statements, employment or business proof, travel bookings and other documents the embassy requires.
• Conversations: messages and calls with us over WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Website usage: Google Analytics collects anonymous data such as pages visited, device type, approximate location and which buttons were tapped, using cookies.

2. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you visa advice.
• To prepare, file and track your visa application and book appointments.
• To send you updates about your application.
• To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

3. Who we share it with

We only share your information when it is needed to provide our service:

• Embassies, consulates and their official visa centres (such as VFS Global or BLS International) — only for your application, and only once you ask us to proceed.
• Service providers that run our website and communication: Formspree (delivers enquiry form submissions to us), Google Analytics (website statistics) and WhatsApp (messaging).
• When required by law or by a government authority.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or application, and for any period required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). After that, we delete it. Copies of your documents are deleted once your visa process is complete, unless you ask us to keep them for a future application.

5. Keeping it safe

Access to your documents is limited to the consultant handling your file. We never ask you to share passwords or OTPs, and we will never ask for payment through an unofficial link.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• see the personal information we hold about you,
• correct or update it,
• delete it (unless we must keep it by law), or
• stop contacting you.

You can also turn off cookies in your browser, or use Google's opt-out tool to stop Google Analytics.
